PerkinElmer Spectrum™ 10 is the infrared spectroscopy software platform for PerkinElmer Spectrum Two and Frontier instruments, available in two configurations:

• Spectrum 10 STD - Standards
• Spectrum 10 ES – Enhanced security for regulatory compliance

Spectrum 10 software packages include device control, data format conversion, and a report design module with a variety of flexible templates. Macros, equation editors, spectrum search, and Beer's Law quantitative method builders are also available. Additional software packages (such as Adulterant Screen and Spectrum Touch) and various user licenses for Spectrum 10 STD are also available.

The software's plug-and-play functionality allows for the recognition of smart sampling accessories. When PerkinsElmer smart accessories are changed or added to the main unit, the software automatically reconfigures the FT-IR to accommodate the new accessory. Multiple intelligent live graphical status indicators, such as instant confirmation of the accessory type and correct settings, allow you to quickly resume measurements.

The software's plug-and-play functionality allows for the recognition of smart sampling accessories. Detailed sample table

It allows for the input of multiple sample details before scanning and is particularly convenient when used with the device's 'Go' button on the Frontier or in combination with a PC/touchscreen barcode scanner and Spectrum Two.

Custom data entry fields may be included to require additional information before scanning is permitted, and this additional data can be text, numbers (e.g., concentration information), or even graphical data, allowing spectroscopic data to be permanently tagged with information such as chemical structure and other relevant images. Additionally, during the quantitative method development process, the component concentrations entered into the Template Table are retained along with the spectroscopic data and can be directly transferred to the Quant method development software. This avoids transcription errors and saves time during method development.

Additional user license

Multi-user licenses are also available and required if the software is installed on multiple PCs at the same site.
