On the morning of March 27, 2025, the Conference on “Summary of Drug and Cosmetic Quality Inspection and Supervision Work in 2024, and Implementation Plan for 2025” officially took place at the Hung Yen Provincial Convention Center, Quang Truong Street, Hung Yen City.
The conference served as an opportunity for the national testing and inspection system to summarize and evaluate the outcomes of drug and cosmetic quality inspection and supervision activities in 2024, while setting directions and priorities for the upcoming year. Key highlights of the conference included:

- A report by the National Institute of Drug Quality Control on the 2024 inspection and supervision activities and the 2025 strategic direction.
- An overview of the management of drug, cosmetic, medicinal herb, and traditional medicine quality in 2024 and the goals for 2025.
- A report from the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Health on pharmaceutical and cosmetic inspection in 2024, along with the action plan for 2025.
The conference welcomed the participation of Deputy Minister of Health Mr. Đỗ Xuân Tuyên, Former Deputy Minister of Health Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lê Văn Truyền, as well as representatives from the Drug Administration of Vietnam, the Department of Traditional Medicine Management, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Health, the Office of Accreditation (Ministry of Science and Technology), universities, the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Drug Quality Control, the National Institute for Food Safety Testing, provincial Departments of Health, drug testing centers from all 63 provinces and cities, and various companies and related organizations.
